American Wirehair

First seen in New York in 1966, the genus American Wirehair was formed as a result of a mutation. Recognized as a breed in 1978 for the preservation of its genetics, the breed is known for its erect and curly plumage. Although it is not as popular as the American Shorthair, what this breed likes to do is constantly follow its owner! American Wirehair, which can go after its owner all day, loves almost everyone it sees with its tiny heart. American Wirehair breed cat, which won the hearts of everyone he encountered with its warm-blooded and sympathetic attitude, is also called “Clown cat” due to its temperate personality. Born almost to be a house cat, this breed has quite hard facial features despite its affectionate demeanor. For this reason, although many people are prejudiced against this breed at first, they soon break down these prejudices with their domesticity and good habit.
